CHESS is a community-defined, research- and evidence-based methodology that involves strategic community capacity-building and transformation planning in its design. CST ignites human development to legitimize the building of a continuum of social structure.
Instituting a multifaceted health and education system requires simultaneous engagement with leaders from both the internal (government) and external (community) social structures. CST creatively disrupts the chain of command to favor community-led, participatory engagement.
Community Education in systems thinking is essential to understanding and developing strategies to reduce health and education disparities. CST prepares resident stakeholders to effectively contribute their lived experience to legitimize transformative changes that improve community health and economic prosperity.
